I purchased the Vems Bluetooth adapter recently from the webshop and have spent today trying to get it to work. I cannot achive any communications between V3 and blutooth adapter. I can pair with Vems adapter (Firefly-7CA6) with any bluetooth device but neither VemsTune or VemsDisplay can connect to V3. I have tried disabling AIM.

What I notice is with AIM enabled, in Vemstune under the Communications tab in Prefferences, selecting the com port relative to the bluetooth serial comunications, the attempt to connect sends data out to the V3 and a whole load of data is returned, I suspect AIM data, but still fails to connect to the V3. Not being a computer whizz, it looks to me that the adapter is actually sending and receiving data with AIM enabled (please see screen capture). When AIM is disabled, there is no data received at all.

What am I doing wrong?

I have time tomorrow to try with the latest stable vemstune and firmware. I will report back. Thanks.

Can you start the vemstune-c.exe which also shows a "console". Maybe you can see something relevant (like "timeout" or format, or CRC or similar). Also try with 1.2.11 firmare.
