Vems Round can be configured to have 1 to 8 display slot S-0 to S-7,
- possibly switchable via button or analog input signal.
- usually switchable, but can be disabled: depends on analog input configuration, eg. analog input threshold
- any display slot can be configured to show anything, including blank
If the displayed data is questioned or weird, try to switch display slot with the button. S-0 is most often configured to show lambda and EGT (but again: this is configurable).
If still not as expected, connect VemsTune via [RS232 interface].
- check that the data is correct (eg. lambda, EGT, RPM or analog input or other data of concern)
- check wiring and related configuration (EGT calibration, WBO2 calibration, ...) if readings are uncertain
Boot mode detected "Bad marker (0x34)"
means fw integrity is uncertain, (perhaps after unsuccessful firmware upload) => "Stay".
- note: "Leave" will try to run the firmware anyway. May or may not work, but most likely "Boot mode" happens for every boot, which can be inconvenient. To upload firmware, Simply "Stay" and:
"Tools / upload firmware" (matching the device, eg. 1.5.8). See AfreshTiny/FirmwareUpgrade
File / Save previous config.
Upload new config if necessary (might not be necessary if fw version is same or very close).
- check [display settings]
