Priming, Cranking Afterstart Setup
Primepulse
To help cold starts the ECU can pulse
the injectors once when it starts up
before the engine is running. You can
adjust how many % of that pulse
will be applied on a warm engine
(usually very low or none).
Cranking
Below the Cranking Threshold the
engine will run with a fixed Crank
Advance and fixed Crank VE
value for the fuel calculation.
It is important
to use the calculated req fuel value if you want to
be able to use the same default cranking tables for
different fuels on other engine setups with
different fuel injectors and cylinder volume.
Flood clear
Below cranking threshold and TPS > 70% enables flood clear mode, injector Pulsewidth = 0 in this situation, very helpfull to clear the engine of excess fuel when flooded.
Afterstart
When starting a cold engine you usually
need a longer afterstart enrichment than
on a warmer engine. Adjust the number of
engine cycles required here.
Warmup Scaling
If there is no need for 100% of the
warmup enrichment at higher engine loads
you can decrease them here.
