V3 config switch
Subpage of Base setup menu
Config-switch / table-switch function
- (configswitch and table-switch used interchangably) ... switches between 2 sets of config and tables .
- After firmware upgrade, config must be uploaded manually to both tables: see tableswitch tutorial (do read it if using configswitch !)
- Before first using of configswitch a proper config (for your ECU) must Upload to table B.
config switch configuration stored in a shared place in the ECU (no need to set in both tables)
- Disable : Always use config A.
- MCP input : When config switch is active (low) then use B table. When config switch is inactive (high) then use A table.
- MCP & Misc1 : When config switch is active (low) and Misc1 is active then use table B. If any of config switch or Misc1 inactive, then use table A.
IMPORTANT: misc1 might be set differently in the two tables.
After enabling configswitch, press "BURN" before activating the input (otherwise the setting might change back to "disable"). Switching to the other table loses ALL unburnt changes (so burn before switching tables if you want to keep the changes).
before 1.1.83:
config switch configuration stored in both tables in the ECU. MUST be set correctly in both tables
- Disabled : Always use config A.
- Switches A->B : When config switch is active (low) then use B table.
- Switches B->A : When config switch is inactive (high) then use A table.
- Switches A->B(misc) : When config switch is active (low) and Misc1 active then use A table.
- Switches B->A(misc) : When config switch is inactive (high) and Misc1 inactive then use A table.
It is recommended to use matching setting in both config.
