Hello Sprocket,

I must have missed that GPS settings in preferences not working, I'll look into it.

Best regards, Dave

Just loaded 1.2.38 and updated ini files. The GPS position displayed is correct. However, in Preferences/ Gauges/ GPS Route, the default map centre coordinates and zoom settings seem to do nothing. When GPS group is opened the map centers on a point nearly 30 miles to the east and zoom 18. Not so much of a problem to zoom out and move the map centre although cumbersome.

Thanks for the response. Please see the included screen capture. This shows the \'test\' communication tool in \'Preferences\' under \'Communications\' settings for \'Gps\' set against a live background of the GPS group in VEMStune. The test tool reports the correct gps location, yet in VEMStune appears differently. I will upload some NMEA data capture tonight from the test program that comes with the receiver. I have applied an offset in the ini file to correct the location (information from another member) but have not yet been able to check accuracy In another location. Also, the default map center position in gauge settings also does not seem to work. Values check in ini file is correct, but map always starts in east Europe, not the UK. I will report back with more data.

NMEA capture needed from GPS (with Terminalprogram), with known location (put that into filename).
From that we\'ll find out first if the GPS reports with some offset, or it\'s somehow the NMEA formatting incompatible with the usual format (or some bug in VT), these 3 cases require different handling.
thanx, Marcell
