WinAVR is set of open source software development tools including GNU C and C++ compilers for Windows platform. Executables are availabe from http://winavr.sourceforge.net/
After some IssueReports about latest WinAVR producing bad code, it is recommended to stick to winavr-20050214 for firmware compilation (if required)
