RadioBoard related developer page
When working with radio, it is important to know
- what wires are sensitive to disturbance (in theory and in reality)
- what are sources of disturbance
- how to prevent problems
Sources of disturbance
- ignition if using IGBT onboard
- injection is nearly not that much
- stepper lines (if used; but not too much anyway)
- main supply ? especially the wire going to the starting motor
Should be shielded at least
- NBO2 signal (nerst, pump+/pump- for wbo2)
- Hall/VR = trigger signal
- Knock signal
- EGT uses it's own shielded thermocouple wire anyway
- serial ( GenBoard/BuildProcedures/SerialPort )
- PS2 (especially if long)
- LCD (especially if long)
Not (too) sensitive
- CLT and IAT
- MAP
- TPS
