Ignition outputs
- cyl 1, EC36/35
- cyl 2, EC36/33
- cyl 4, EC36/36 is suspicious looking at the individual power
- cyl 5, EC36/24
- cyl 3, EC36/34 Sparkplug is sooty, not as clean as other sparkplugs...
Cylinder 3 is sooty in ec36/34
note: dwell is 2.3 msec, does not grow with MAP (dwellmap=0)
dwellmap is 0 because we don't see any change in ignition power with higher dwell than 2.0 msec
ign TDC-delay (primary trigger settings) is too low !
- ign-tdcdelay = 20 is wrong....
Correction hint: 144+20=164 crankdeg = 15*6 + 74
- first trigger tooth should be 15
- "TDC after the trigger": ign tdcdelay = 74 crankdeg
- of course, rotate ignoutputs by 1 to match the desired spark position
- verify by strobe
* Strobe
* cyl 1, EC36/34 --> 710 deg
* cyl 2, EC36/35 --> 650 deg
* cyl 4, EC36/33 --> 600 deg
* cyl 5, EC36/36 --> 520 deg
* cyl 3, EC36/24 --> 430 deg
Validation shows possible problem
- sectrig HALL-dirac filter: preferrably disable it !
- iac ignadv change should be lower (+2, -6 crankdeg or similar; even +1 -3 or crankdeg is more than enough is IAC air-valve is set up properly, +0 -0 should be good too)
With hall dirac filter the problem shows less times
Benchtest
We applied some changes to the config, because "TDC after trigger" = 20 crankdeg is not a good setting (see above ... Since we changed 144 crankdegrees, you might need to rotate the ignoutput sequence by 1 event, strobing will show it).
After that, we benchtested the config.
We benchtested the ~160 kPa and 3000 .. 7000 RPM range most extensively where your cylinder seems to misfire. The ignition and injection outputs fired properly.
Test config: http://www.vems.hu/files/VolvoS/tested-v3.3_u004521-A-2013.05.06-12.50.36.vemscfg
As discussed on phone, "swapping"-game is needed to find out if
- injector, valve or cylinder
- sparkplug
- sparkplug-wire
- transformer (active COP that somehow needs very strong driving)
- driver for transformer (AFAIK PNP drives the active COP, and PNP transistor is driven from IGBT in your setup).
The config might need to be adjusted (eg. if 2 outputs are swapped).

The car is running normaly but when the boost is 0.5 bar and higher the car is missfireing because the weak spark.
- One cylinder is misfiring, seen on the individual power gauge (hotkey ALT-5), we suspect that the cylinder / ignition coil connected to ouput 3, ec36 pin 36 is your problem //Emil

I think the primary trigger setting and h0 is incorrect
- you mean tdc-delay ??
