Hello Everyone,
Here is a short description of the project I have in mind.
- The victim is a 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano v6.
- This is a 3.0 60 degree even fire V6.
- Two valves per cylinder overhead cam.
- Stock it has a Bosch L-jet system.
- This engine quite restricted by the L-jet systems flow
- May replace with homebrew ITBs.
Some VEMs features Id like to include initially:
- EGT (two EGT channels are possible, and now both channels can be logged)
- WB02
- Coil on Plug (6)
- Offboard MAP sensor.
- Crank and Cam VR pickups
Q.Before I order the ECU will I have to decide on logic level coils or primary driven units? ( to avoid extra soldering ). Any suggestions? This motor needs a very hot spark to run best.
