Here is a short description of the project I have in mind.
- The victim is a 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano v6.
- This is a 3.0 60 degree even fire V6.
- Two valves per cylinder overhead cam.
- Now Stock it has a Bosch L-jet system
Some VEMs ECU features Id like to include initially:
- EGT (two EGT channels are possible, and now both channels can be logged)
- WB02
- Coil on Plug (6) non-logic style
- Offboard MAP sensor.
- Crank and Cam VR pickups
Can I get some comments on this order list?
- Assembled v3.3 controller
- 1-wire interface no

Q.I see many VR pickups recommend shielded cable to the ECU but the harness has individual wires.
- Whats the proper way to wire this up?
- wire shiled on the ECM side only (so shield is not used for signal! obviously min 2 wire + shield needed)
- What inline connector could be used?
- sealed sensor connector (WebShop, Loom connector)
Q3. The motronic idle servo has two wires and seems to have a variable duty cycle pulse that opens it against a spring. Does the firmware currently support such a servo?
