Rover Group Single Point Injection 36-1-1 Trigger
This page is to describe the Primary Trigger settings for 36-1-1 trigger pattern often found on the Single Point Injection (Throttle Body Injection) systems used in many Rover models in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Predominantly found on the Rover Mini between 1991 and 1996. This trigger does not have any secondary trigger and uses a single traditional oil filled ignition coil and mechanical distributor.
This trigger pattern, 36-1-1, is different from the 36-2-2 pattern used in the Rover Group Multipoint Injection systems and is not to be confused. The 36-2-2 trigger pattern is already accommodated with trigger Rover-K_Lotus-Elise_e324.
Description of Trigger
Normal 36 tooth pattern, with missing tooth at 0 degrees and 180 degrees. 10 degrees between teeth. Primary sensor on 0 degrees at TDC on cylinder 1.
