Added LCD header to main board and integrated 2x16 LCD display into E36 Cluster.
These images are with standard VEMS fw 1.2.23 (previously was running 1.2.10). Considering that fw is compiled for LCD 4x20, it actually displays quite well.
New pages (currently numbered as page 12 and 13):
ETxxxx Cxxx Axxx
LAMx.xx VBATxx.x
and
ETxxxx Cxxx Axxx
AFRxx.x PSIxx.x
Where C=CLT A=IAT ET=EGT
These custom LCD pages (for 2x16, page 12 and 13) are implemented in 1.2.28 compiled with SASHA_CUSTOM_LCD and YANKEE options, available for testing [here].
Change COP from dumb to active (VAG COP)
Modified the ECU on IGN output 0 & 1 to logic level output by removing FET and adding bridge to output pins and 500 ohm resistors:
Using all 4 stepper outputs + IGN output 0 + 1 for sequential IGN.
Dwell set to 1.4ms with scale of 10
Wire harness is temporary and will be remade:
Tested and recorded resistance of factory OBD2 CLT sensor for BMW 6 cyl M/S5x motors (North America) - Siemens ECU:
