The car in question is a 1980 Porsche 928
- 4.5L SOHC V8
- forged pistons
- balanced
- sleeved
- mustang dizzy
- 788cc low-z injectors
- 2x Bosch fuel pumps
- VEMS V3.3 ECU
- custom fitted 60-2 wheel and sensor from Electromotive (see trigger page)
- And a very large turbo
The car is now running and driving with VEMS! July 1st 2008 (Canada Day ironically)
only thing is I'm having issues with it backfiring, not wanting to rev past 2500-3000rpm when using light (14-25% TPS indicated) throttle. If you stab or even just depress the throttle 100% it revs just fine... I'm not quite sure it's accel enrichment related either and something to to with the TPS?? anyone have any ideas?
- Idea: Datalog, datalog and then datalog some more. Upload to vems.hu.
- I did Datalog, I just wasn't awake enough to think about upload ing it when I posted the question :P Will upload as soon as I can.
