Subaru Legacy Outback (JDM Grand Wagon) AKA The Daily Driver
The car is basically a Legacy Wagon with too much suspension. It's got a 2.5L flat four, with a four speed automatic gearbox. It's a 1996 model, so it's getting a little tired now. Time for a freshen up... but'll have to wait until the other cars are done. Consider this page a wishlist.

- [KYB GR-2] shocks. Not as sporty as I'd like, but the Outback has taller than normal Legacy struts.
- Polyureathane bushes.
- [Whiteline] sway bar links.

- [DBA 4000 series] slotted rotors.
- [BBS RGR 18x7.5] rims in Diamond Black finish (or cheaper copies).
- Michelin Pilot Sport 245/45ZR18 tyres. We have some Pilots on the horse float. :)

- Rebuilt original EJ25 DOHC
- Internals
- 9.5 to 1 Arias pistons. p/n 3620100
- Total Seal [gapless] rings.
- Eagle H-beam rods. p/n CRS5137S3D
- ARP head stud kit. p/n 260-4701
- Thinner SOHC head gaskets to raise CR.
- Cobb Street Performer [camshafts].
- Intake
- K&N filter.
- Remove MAF meter.
- DIY cold air ducting.
- NOS PowerFogger 4-cyl 75HP wet system.
- Exhaust
- Borla headers. p/n 17183
- 2.5" Custom system with Borla components.
- Controls
- VEMS ECU running full sequential fuel and DIS ignition. 2 channel WBO2. 2 channel knock interface. EGT. On dash LCD.
