My name is Paal, studying administration and economics in Bergen, Norway.
The goal
Apply a GenBoard/VerThree (V3.3) to my Polizei-golf's new engine.
The car is a VW Golf 2 currently running a G60 (PG) engine without the G60 charger (estimated output above 50 hp, but below 90 hp).
the car:
A fresh built 16v KR engine is the new one going in, which is a fine mixture of different Audi S2/4/6 parts etc.
It has a K24 turbo and WG bolted to a chopped S6 exhaust manifold. The intake is from an Audi S2 shortened to 4cyl with a S2 throttlebody and TPS sensor.
The injectors will be 440cc or 507cc (high impedance) on a shortened S2 fuelrail and a 3,5 bar FPR.

As it seems the VAG sensor is NOT a VR sensor, I am unsure if its possible to use a different VR sensor with this wheel.
An alternative is this [crank trigger kit] from 034efi.
Running a OEM 60-2 wheel and VR sensor retrofitted on the crank housing (transmission side) (see http://www.golf1.info/forum/thread.php?threadid=14109&page=2#post151865)
- Consists of Two (Three) parts:
- 030103171L - approx 64,44 eur - sealing flange with sealing ring and impulse rotor (60-2 wheel and housing)
- 030906433Q - approx 41,02 eur - speed sensor (apparently a hall sensor - not VR) \\Paal
- 030103647E - approx 25,00 eur - Steel plate to cover those both
- OBS!!! Go back to the www.golf1.info forum... latest news about the trigger. It is a Hall sensor not a VR according to the forum thread. Looks like we need to check more with VAG about sensor. \\SOP
- Wiring schematics at ELSA (AXU engine) also supports this being Hall-sensor, pin#1 is +5v supply. \\TeroK
- Just of curiousity: How did you see that pin1 is +5v from the diagram in ELSA? \\Paal

After advice from MembersPage/SteinOvePrestmo the idea is to run wasted spark ign using a 60-2 wheel + VR sensor and perhaps a 034-efi coil (http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?products_id=40).
Shopping list
I have just started the process of compiling and deciding the components for this build, and how to solve the wasted spark set up.
Ideally this setup should consist of:
- - Retrofitted OEM 60-2 wheel (if it is possible to use a different VR sensor, else: 034efi 16v crank trigger kit)
- - VAG sensors for AIT, water temp
- 0 280 130 085 is a good choise afaik (VAG 058905379) \\Kalske
- - TPS sensor from Audi S2 (I think I found the pinouts for it on this wiki once upon a time)
- works ok, schematics: \\Kalske
- - No knock sensors
- - WBO2
- - EGT (welded somewhere in the DP)
- I would put it before turbo
- Might be tricky since its a cast iron manifold \\Paal
- - 440cc or 507cc high ohm injectors
- - Idle stabilisation valve from G60 PG (solenoid, VAG part # 037 906 457 D)
