This page contains information for Audi Coupe with a 5cyl 20 V Turbo engine conversion (like a European Audi S2)... running VEMS, w/ stock Auditrigger setup and stock COP w/o power output stage and 440cc high impedance Ford Racing injectors.
ECU was ordered for Auditrigger firmware revision 1.0.38

- Injector's are connected to the following outputs:
Inj 1 - EC36 Pin7
Inj 2 - EC36 Pin19
Inj 3 - EC36 Pin8
Inj 4 - EC36 Pin20
Inj 5 - EC36 Pin9

The Coils are connected as follows:
Coil #1 - EC36 Pin35
Coil #2 - EC36 Pin33
Coil #3 - EC36 Pin34
Coil #4 - EC36 Pin36
Coil #5 - EC36 Pin11
- Order to fire are:
Fuel Pump is connected to EC36 Pin10 (IGBT Drive_07)
- EC36-pin29 - TPS5V output. Used the same for HALL.
- EC36pin27 - Primary trigger 135 cranktooth VR.
- EC36pin13 Sec.trig cam-HALL 1 window camtooth.
- EC18pin12 - crankhome VR (1 tooth per crank)
Used shielded cables, separate for all 3 signals.
The primary trigger 135-VR cables was reversed to work.
The Sec.trig cables ware reversed to on the firewall (engine bay side)

- HISTORY:
The RPM values during cranking are random and are between 179-189 RPM (something like: 179-182-189-187-183, etc....
NO MORE THIGGER ERROR
using 10k pullup resistor to 5V. (SOLVED)
Pullup for the crankhome was changed from 43k,33,22,to 10k resistor.
Without resistor pullup wasn't able to get any rpm signal to the ECU.
Measured OK: 5V (from EC36pin28 - verified this @ the hall plug -
also during cranking.
Battery Voltage during cranking 10.5V

- PROBLEM:
DID NOT START UP.
We have changed both VR sensors, and verified that both work prior to putting them in. We also replaced the hall sensor with a known good one.

PLEASE HELP:
TPIC6A259 is damage I guess from Heat!?, I pluged in new one with ver.1.0.36 and change resistor to 10K, NO MORE TRIGGER ERROR!!! I have spark on #1-2-3-5 when I check one by one, but did not start!
All the grounds have been checked and are good and all are connected. OK, so installers made very strong grounds very close to EC36. 1 GND + all 4 GND connected with min 1mm2 wires max 30 cm from EC36 (possibly just 10cm)
There is very dangerous spark map in there,
IT WAS NOTYFY BY xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
