it is indeed a 3B engine harness with 5 TFSi coils with the recovery of the signals from this one with the econoseal 10 pinout plug, the vems with the number 19229 and 9297 work correctly on Audi S2 3B
I only use the computer, the tablet and the phone are at the bottom of Lake Balaton... :)
Audi 3B engine harness with mot55 connector (actually Audi 3B is just a guess, is this correct ? Request did not even say "Audi", only "vehicle")
Might want to enjoy [this standup]
I can't start the vehicle and nothing in the log. Everything works manually, but no boot. I have tried other 55 VEMS (what is the exact serialnumber of the working device ?) on the vehicle, it starts instantly.
What is the ignition setup ?
- active coils need logiclevel outputs
- passive coils need IGBT outputs
- 1 or 5 coils ?
- exact pins ?
Please flush the phone/tablet down the toilet and use PC/notebook for communications for reasonable results.
Solution is simple, same firmware and config and identical HW=> it will start. Just need to check step by step.
Please edit this project page, write or link all information about your engine and project (including measurements and config) thematically...
Support is only possible if the most uptodate information is seen with no misunderstanding.
- correct engine-and-harness must be used
- (verify, make measurements of GND, supply, and resistance of CLT and MAT sensors via the mot55 connector, take note of estimated engine temperature)
Note that there are PTC (default for 3B, around 400 Ohm at 25C) and NTC (around 2252 Ohm at 25C, not default but often used) type MAT sensor for Audi 3B engine.
- save known good config
- publish known good config on your page
- save wrong config
- publish wrong config labeled as such
- upload good config to Audi3B/8815 ECU
config must be uploaded and perhaps adjusted according to the setup.
2014 june specs when sent out:
- oid9204 audi3b/8815 VEMS motronic55
- Model: Audi 3B (+0.70EUR)
- Knock input channels: 0
- MAT input: Audi factory PTC
- sensor resistance can be measured with sensor unplugged. Or through mot55 connector GND and sensor input (only unplug ECU with ignition off!)
