Now i will have a little time for upgrade the car.
I want to use a stock Audi Bosch Idle air valve,2 pin,cigerette style.
How to wire it?
- Stock idle air valve is pwm style. Connect other pin to +12V, other to free injector channel.
- Choose PWM/Stepper from idle settings, choose PWM type and correct idle solenoid channel under Iac hardware setup
- In idle control PWM reference table, fill in values 60 down to 30 linearly decreasing, these need some tuning but something to start
- try to check other idle setting from [this msq]
I wired the idle air valve.
Pin1 to Ignition Switched +12V
Pin2 to Injector Driver H (EC-36pin17)
Tried several config settings but none worked.
Unfortunately the link from Miska is broken,so i cannot check that.I tried to set to PWM as discribed,and i choose INJFET #7.
Nothing happend.
I also wired up it to Injector Driver #6 (EC36-pin6) and configured it to that channel,agan no response.
Then i tought that maybe something is wrong with that valve ,so i "manually" opened it with 12V,it cliks,so its fully functional!I also measured its impedance,which is 4.1 ohm.
QHow can i test INJ channel #7?
What did i wrong?
I can measure 12V between Cylinder Head and "Pin1".
