Mercedes M119 V8 5L naturally aspirated
- 300 kPa MAP sensor, simplenipple
- manual throttle
- 8 IGBT
Ignition
8 passive coils
- 4 stepper + 4 logiclevel ign output
VR-VR
- primtrig VR: crank 60-2
- sectrig VR: camshaft
2 NFETs for On-off intake cam (2 actuators, but controlled by same on-off signal, no need for separate feedback like PWM VANOS/VVTI).
12V, controlled by NFET (low-side switch)
- EC36/3 but controlled by extrafet (7.5 Ohm)
- EC36/15 but controlled by extrafet (7.5 Ohm)
TPS - big Electronically controlled ("DBW") block with 2+14 wires (but some wires are actually empty, mostly the tan-brown insulator-tubes; weird). Mechanically modified so manual throttle bowden can almost full open it (without the aid of the electric motor).
- TPS signal: red-white (appr. 0.55k .. 1.4k resistance measured: when opening throttle: resistance growing towards red-grey ; resistance falling towards black-grey)
- GND: red-grey
- +5V: black-grey
Mercedes (W140) M119 500 throttle wires
- idle OFF/ON signal: between white-brown and white-green
- open at idle, 0.33k above idle
Idle: currently mechanically raised idle.
- optionally: Opel 1 wire idle valve
BT (2nd RS232 optional)
TODO:
- test mc7 oil temperature C gauge on VemsDisplay (triggerframe mode)
- test EGT exhaust temperature C gauge on VemsDisplay (triggerframe mode)
- 1 x LSU4.9 + connector
- no EGT.
