Lack of EGO (lambda) correction
I've experienced problems on a couple of cars where I haven't been able to get the EGO correction to work (stay enabled, or enabled at all) while it works great on others. There must be something I'm missing so I've put all the necessary data files here:
http://www.vems.hu/files/MembersPage/MattiasSandgren/EgoCorrection/
I run the currently recommended firmware 1.0.73.
A known problematic config.txt is [here].
A known working config.txt is [here].
[Datalog] and [MSQ] are available. The datalog shows a condition where the correction should be enabled, but just isn't.
I will investigate the config variables further, any assistance is appreciated.
I've tried to correct and fix the most obvious variables that might be suspected to affect the EGO correction. I've simply copied the values from the working config to the problem config and uploaded it. I hasn't helped so far. Use any diff/comparison program to see for yourself. I can't find this!!
- I'm just guessing, tried suggested value of wbo2_warmup_ramp=A0? (FF should be fine, just slightly faster rampup than the extraslow A0 we deault after Bosch overcautios recommendation) - GergelyLezsak
- I've somewhat related problem with EGO correction at 1.1.26, generally works fine, and sometimes it simply doesn't work at all, for loong time (until restart). I've a full datalog of a half hour trip with no EGO at all, and a bit later with full ego correction. Config was not touched, similar symptoms detected even without a laptop/keyboard connected. Very strange.
- are you sure it's not related to config (like ego_coolant or similar) ?
- can you get snapshots (via TerminalProgram) of the wbo2 LCD page (the one with Ri:...). If the Ri or nernst target is not reached, ego correction might be disabled
- I'll try to, if I got a chance next time.
- A few days ago I just wanted to log engine start, and typed mde02 to enable lambda before start. It simply didn't start to heat. Tried several times. Other keyboard commands were working fine, and after I started up the engine the lambda started to heat. Just another strange thing :|
