This page is about installing VEMS on my BWM 325iX, it's based on the E30 chassis and was manufactured in 1989. It's got AWD (the X in the model name) and here is [an old picture of the AWD beast].

My V3.1 board
How do I connect power to this V3.1 board?

An external fuse (in the harness) will be used and a short (white wire) has been soldered in place of F1 as can be seen in the top view. Do I just short (what I believe to be L3) to the upper right of F1 ?
What else is needed to get voltage going to the right places?
The stepper chip has been soldered to the board, and I've taken some impressions from these pages - but I personally find it's hard to discern what is v3.0, v3.1 or v3.2. But it's my problem for getting an experimental board. :-)
