Harness wiring information for MembersPage/MarcellGal/EngineSwap project
The plan is to leave the car's factory harness intact. The factory DELCO ECM (TBI) is relatively advanced, with many inputs. The only problem is to get a bad ECM to use only the connectors (or getting the connectors themselves, but that looks even harder). What connectors does GM/Bosch motronic (the predeccessor of DELCO) use on street cars? Mine has 2 connectors with 2x16 pins each.
Than add wires and supplementary connectors for
- WBO2
- camsync
- 4 injectors
- 4 coils
- BoostControl
- InTake/VariableIntake control
Spare wires for
- communication (twisted pair?), rs232, FBUS, symmetric serial, CAN
- power
- switched signals
- low-power signals (temp, pressure, ... )
- acoustic signals (IonSense, knock, valvetrain, ... )
