Project VW Passat VR6
- Demo/Test Vehicle for VEMS V3.3
- VW VR6 6 cylinder engine
- Firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4
- Sequential fuel injection
- 60-2 VR crank trigger
- 1 Window hall cam trigger
- NTC temp sensors
- Standard TPS
- 2 OEM knock sensors
- High-Z injectors
- 3X double ended waste spark coil with ignitor
- 2 wire PWM Bosch Idle Valve (min/closed duty ~25%)
- Bosch #0 280 140 512/ VW #034 133 455B,2 wire, 8.2 Ohms (~1.5A)
- Can 2 stepper Outputs be combined to handle 2 amps?
- there is no official way for this.
- if used as ignition outputs, ign_dualout would work, but connecting 2 stepper outputs directly would most likely blow it _very_ soon (depending on config)
- if you only need 1-side (like pull up, or pull down) driver, it is easy to use 2 diodes to make it a higher current output. This is safe. However, driving them simultaneously ... not supported (except for ignition, with the ign_dualout).
