ecu repair history:

ecu 9955

1: died installing, connected to it, made some changes and it died, impossible to connect. what was damaged? you say p259?

ecu 10194

2: died after my failure with coil ground disconnected, started worked, and died slowly after I forgot to put coil ground cable in place after swapping ignition coils. baked one igbt, what more happened to it?

thank you.

update 2017/08/01

serial 15103

battery voltage shows 0 after short when removing map sensor.

serial 15104 same as before, it's possible that solder blobs which makes path to rs232 are unsoldered.

need gut replacement for those I believe

2 of those died because of me, some epic stupid mistake. shorted some pins on map sensor header when removing map sensor from it. some small trace of solder was left there, and now 5v regulator makes loads of heat.

and I believe we have 14027

car died when guy was going out of petrol station, no signs of life after that and all cylinders full of petrol. need the same with 4 vr sensors on same pins, subaru trigger system.

3 ECUs received are being rebuilt as gut replacement (even those that show some signs of life are abused enough so would be too risky to repair by replacing some chips).

ecu with tracking number CE711215409LT

don't know serial number at the moment.

ecu died when uploading configuration file, first it went to boot mode, after there was no more possible to connect to it, I have replaced rs232 chip in it, no luck. wiring adapter was done by some amateur electrician, i will check that later by myself. try to find what's wrong, if not possible to fix, replace the internals. thank you.

shipment with tracking number https://tracking.dpd.de/status/en_US/parcel/05807000163759

2 ecus, one with serial 10443 is pretty much dead, customer when asked to turn ignition on and off was instead of flipping ignition switch was disconnecting ecu connector, did that probably 5 times with very bad condition wiring, no fuses and other stuff. it started to show trigger errors and died.

ecu with not sure what serial number was damaged after my coleague installed flyback diodes in opposite direction, one fet + limiting resistor + injector driver chip was damaged, they were replaced tested on bench, all working. when testing in car it was starting and dying. tested on bench with no outputs connected just monitoring injector pulse on scope, it works ok until about 850/900 rpm, after that it just dies.

would be nice to repair if possible, if not just replace the boards.

thank you.

customer came to the dyno, with 1.2.44 decided to downgrade it to 1.2.38, used wizard for it and upgrade crashed instantly, ecu went to boot mode, bad marker 0x34 or something. tried one more time without wizard, crashed instantly again and no even bootloader seems to be not working, ecu itself seems to be totally fine, nothing burned or anything, took another ecu and continuing mapping now. can you help me with that ecu recovery?

ecu serial is 22099.

thank you.
