I have Genboard 3.3 (1.0.53) installed on my car, and i have some problems with those .bat files installed on my computer.
When connected to car, download-config.bat works fine, but when running generate-config.bat it doesn´t work right.
Tables.mtt is generated ok, but config.mtt have ERROR text first on every line.
At the end it says Config.mtt generated with 255 errors and 0 warnings.???
- check your downloaded config.txt in /config that it is correct
- check your /firmware that is has correct global.h in it
- if previous doesn't give any results, download new VemsMT release and replace old makeconfig.exe with the one from new package
Tried with new .exe file , but still the same...
at what com-port is your laptop communicating with genboard?
when this is another com-port as the bat-file uses then you have to edit the batfile with a texteditor to adjust its com-port. Tim
Edit your config.txt with Programmers notepad, Do not use windows notepad. There is note about this in here somewhere on wiki.
I had similar problems because windows notepad somehow mixed up config.txt and give multiple errors when trying to generate config.
Then finally editing with Programmers notepad there was many lines containig text from multiple lines.
I separated texts to their own lines, saved and everything worked OK!

It look´s to be ok in Programmers notepad..
Is it the global.h then what´s messing up?
I doesn´t have com port in generate-config.bat, only in upload and download.bat´s have it.
I modified config file with Programmers notepad (removed empty lines) after that, when running generate config, it says on every line:
WARNING: did not find a value for ... and so on..
Except at first line it reads: softrpm_rpm=FF01=FF7700F=80
That softrpm is in last line in config.txt
There are values in every line when i open config.txt in editor!!!
I´ve got false reading in clt and mat at lower temperatures, when temp is like +15c outside, lcd shows then +22 or +23 celsius.
CLT shows +96c when engine in at normal temp (+92c thermostat)
Sensors are bosch MAT 0280 130 039 and CLT 0280 130 068 and car is Calibra turbo
I´ve measured those, and here´s my list:
MAT
1c 6140 ohm
10c 4080 ohm
20c 2720 ohm
30c 1840 ohm
40c 1279 ohm
46,5c 1000 ohm
50c 882 ohm
60c 630 ohm
70c 459 ohm
80c 343 ohm
90c 263 ohm
CLT
-
1c 5770 ohm
10c 3960 ohm
20c 2630 ohm
30c 1760 ohm
40c 1208 ohm
50c 856 ohm
60c 607 ohm
70c 449 ohm
80c 331 ohm
90c 270 ohm
I´ve read that easytherm thing but imo it´s bit messy..
So could somebody tell me what to do to get those readings right?
What car you have? Can you give the markings on the sensors I.E. Bosch 0 280 130 026. Your measurements are very close to mine.
I have hex files to my sensors if you have the same!
Go to filearea and under memberspage/srepo there is zip file containing the files.

This week i´ve been trying to get that damn cold start correct.
It usually dies right after start and on second start is usually ok... I´ve tried to set that afterstart correct but i haven´t found any working setup.
Here´s today´s setup:
Primepulse 1.0
Hot start scaling 63
Crank cold 11.5
Crank warm 2.9
Crank threshold 300
Crank advance 20
Afterstart enrich 35
Afterstart scaling 15
Duration 402
I´ve tried cwl between 7.5 to 14 and afterstart enrichment 20% - 80&. Warm starts are quite good so that cwh is quite near where it should be, i think...
And off course i´ve tried just few times per day, so that the engine is sure enough cold..
Just my two cents:
If the engine tries to start when cold (that when you have crank and prime values good) but dies right after, then you could try to increase afterstart enrich like double, triple or even more and maybe decrease afterstart scaling so afterstart enrichment does not effect when engine is warm.
Fixed that ASE and coldstarts, faulty IAC valve...
