I have used motec on GSXR1000 last year in a team which I had worked in. Motec M-800 is great but it is expensive. Genboard seem to have same or superior hardware specifications.

My engine started with Genboard working in fully sequencial ignition (with COP´s)!!!

Our mision is to install a Motec, but I hope to get install and test genboard in this engine, it is completely new engine, from a absolutely 0 km motobike!!!
First cycle strange firing sequence report 17-October-2005
The first turn during crancking seems to apears strange firing sequence it makes a ugly explosions during start process and dificult the starting process.
I have checked that it is not a ground loop or any electromagnetic noise. (in fact, now i am testing it with a simulator)
- latest firmware version used: v3_firmware_1.0.18

The above config file has some questionable settings, this is what I came up with for that engine:
tooth_wheel=07 # 8-1 teeth
trigger_tooth=01
another_trigger_tooth=04
crank_minper=40 # FF is too high, FF would cut spark at high-RPM
tooth_wheel_twidth1=0A #decimal 10: 45 degrees (0-720deg = 0-160 fake degrees)
tooth_wheel_twidth2=14 #decimal 20: 90 degrees. This assumes reset_engphase_after (720 degrees) is decimal 160 (hexa A0)
cam_sync_r_edge_phase=0A
cam_sync_f_edge_phase=0A
reset_engphase_after=82 # ???? decimal 130 ???: The trigger tooth after the trigger tooth at 540 degrees (585 degrees) 585/720*160=130 (82hex) Why not decimal 160 ?

I have no multichannel oscilloscope so I built a "channel multiplier" with resistors:
-Ign Channel 00 - 9.4k lower pulse
-Ign Channel 01 - 4.7k
-Ign Channel 02 - 2.2k
-Ign Channel 03 - 1k higher pulse
It is diferent than old testings, this time the sequence is always exacly the same. Only two ignition firings are erroneous.
