When ever the engine has been turned on it has problems, it sounds like it mis-fire and it "jumps" when traying to accelerate just a little (high "ve").
It does not matter if the car is warm or cold, or if it has been turned off for 1 minute or 1 hour, but the problem seems to fade away the last 10 sek. before the Lambda-reading appears om the display/MT?
- If the mixture is very rich, and it cannot ignite, O2 gets to the exhaust. Because of this, the WBO2 thinks it is lean, and ego-correction adds more fuel which does not help the issue.
- I believe it is the mixture that is wrong and causes the problem.
- Primarily look at the ego-correction (which is direct information! egoC:-20 means -8% because 0.4% units), not the lambda. Only look at the lambda if you want to verify ego-correction (direction of change). Mounting NBO2 sounds like a waste of time.
- "pre-heat" the WBo2 with mde02 command so you can get readings right when the engine start
- Okay thanks I'll try the mde02 command, cause the problem is only there before the wbo2 i warm, when I have no o2-readings. I think I got the ego-correction under controle, and I can't see how it can bee a part of this problem.
- Make the EGO range very narrow, like
- -ego_rich_limit=1%
- -ego_lean_limit=5%
- read TuningSession/VEtuning for more on the subject.
- My EGO is not activeted before CLT > 70c and it is there no matter what CLT-temperature.
- the afterstart enrichment decays to 0% from original (say +25%) in a configured number of cam-cycles (usually 255). While this is theoretically independent from the WBO2 warmup, it happens in the same appr. 25..30sec timeframe.
Next step is to start documenting your setup.
- don't forget about injectors (type, flowrate)
- flyback setup
- firmware and config
- organize thematically (not chronologically), index on MembersPage/HansK
This will make it possible for other to help you investigate the problem.
