BMW E46 drift car under construction. Engine from E38 M60B40
- 2019-06-19: I had a problem with cam signal edge too close to missing tooth, actually it was on 58 tooth,
- I solved this by reversing cam sensor (sectrig) polarity, after that cam signal showed up on 10th tooth on crank trigger wheel.
- Car is street tuned and works good
- Everything remained stock, except IAT/MAT and injectors (Opel 370cc ones installed
- Plan is to go turbo, next year,on in two years.
- VEMS is in ordering proccess
- Ecu order config

Got complete engine from E38 M60B40, I will keep stock sensors, primary and secondary VR (correct me if i am wrong)
- want to keep stock knock sensors
- iat will be used from E46 320d (bosch, similiar as in webshop)
- not sure about fuel strategy, map or alpha N? will it gain some performance if we go alpha n? Fuel economy is not importmant, its a race car.
You can see all the BMW ETM files for older cars here - http://wedophones.com/Manuals/BMW/
It´ll help with determining if you have VR or HALL effect and the wire colours etc.
- Great! Its a VR according to schematics.
