Audi 200 Turbo Quattro . 5cyl 10valve.

For the moment it runs the standard mechanical fuel injection and standard ecu for the ignition control.

The original ignition is triggered by a halleffekt-sensor in the distributor.

Got a tip from Mattias Sandgren to install 60-2 and VR sensor in the back of the engine (standard on newer audi engines?) and kamsync. Any tips on useful triggers? Will probably use the distributor to start with.

The 10v engine is going to be used as an ice/winter-engine. Probably standard-turbo etc.

Im going to buy fuelrail from 034-motorsport and an aeromotive fuelpressureregulator, probably two Wallbro FPs and Siemens deka 900cc injectors. (Heard those were great?)


Planning on building a stroker 20v (Dieselblock + crank, 158mm rods and special pistons(someone got any suggestions on measurements of those pistons?)


Bought a used Vems 3.3 ecu.

8 Injector drivers, 8 ignition drivers, 30v diodflyback. Primary trigger VR, secondary Hall. New lsu4 sensor. EGT chip, but didnt get any sensor, will buy this later.

Is there any way to check which firmware the Ecu is loaded with?

Anything special I should think about in my first Vems install?

Still trying to learn this Wiki, will probably take some time to get used to.

Have made several Megasquirts installs already, so I dont see this as any impossibilty, though its alot new things to learn with Vems!
