I would like to buy a VEMS ECU actually two. Both are for BMW M62B44 (No Vanos). As these two engines have different modifications
I will split it to engine 1 & engine 2 and use your template to describe each however both are the same
Stock M62 parameters:
- V8
- STOCK ECU BOSCH DME M5.2
- No VANOS
- 8 injectors STOCK Bosch
- 8 coils "passive"
- 4 channel Knock sensing
- Cam sensor Stock (Hall)
- Crank sensor on flywheel, don't know real type but it is magnetic.
- ABS ring wheel speed signal
- Idle : ZWD "idle speed is controlled on the M62 engine by means of a two-winding rotary actuator"
Engine 1:
- Natural aspirated
- 8x Stock Coil
- ITB from S62 also with injectors (should have same control as stock)
- Alfa N
- Intake air pressure
- Drive by Wire actuator from S62 / not mandatory
- Stock Idle control (M62 and S62 have the same idle valve)
- Stock sensors
- Controlled Thermostat removed
- 2x wide band
- 2x EGT
- 2x Knock
- Can bus (output for S54 instrument cluster, Display)
- Can bus for external communication (send & receive)
- PWM eletric FAN control
- Speed sensing S62 ABS rings on rear axle
- Flat shift
Engine 2:
- Forced induction (twin turbo)
- 8x Stock Coil
- 8x injector Siemems DEKA 80LB High Impedance EV1 (110324 FI114992)
- Intake Air pressure Intake Air temperature
- Drive by Wire electric throttle actuator Stock N62, Stock electric pedal S54
- Controlled Thermostat removed
- RPM depended Boost control
- ALS
