Grounding
M52 Gnds: MOT88/ 4, 7, 28, 32, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 56, 58, 63, 67, 70, 71, 72
- please check by measurement (harness and ecu pins) Pin63 is optional. Some gnd pins in harness have no connectivity, are only connected by ecu pin
- ECU passed all functional tests (including main relay and fuelpump p259 outputs)
- needless to say, grounds were connected during HW-tests (eg. the signalgenerator is grounded to the other grounds of test-bench)
Check just in case:
- BMW88/43 must be grounded (connected to BMW88/34 in ECU) if it is not grounded in harness and DVM diode measurement shows more than 0mV between these 2 ECU pins also
- otherwise the harness is not compliant with the GenBoard/Manual/GroundConnections and p259 might be damaged
- EC36/26 GND connected to GND5 inside all BMW M52 ECU (double-test this)
