Trigger
with OscilloScope please measure
- 360 crank degree "crankhome-VR" (measure amplitude also)
- 720 crank degree Cam-HALL window (with 10k pullup to +5V or +12V)
- relative to each other
Trigger related EC36 pins:
- EC36/26 - GND
- EC36/27 - Primary Trigger VR (135 pulse)
- measure resistance to GND
- EC18/12 - secondary trigger "crankhome-VR" (1 pulse / 360 crankdeg)
- measure resistance to GND, and scope signal
- EC36/13 - Secondary Trigger cam-HALL window (1 window / 720 crankdegree, around the "crankhome-VR")
- (use 4k7 .. 10k pullup to +5V or +12V if ECU is not connected, otherwise DVM or scope would show 0V)
- EC36/28 +5V needed if ECU not plugged in, ECU supplies 5V for HALL sensor via this pin
Note:
If ECU is plugged in, and cam-HALL operation is uncertain (no scope to measure ???) then as a debug-experiment
- cam-HALL signal (at cam-hall female connector, pin which is connected to EC36/13 , please verify) connect to GND (0V) so that cam-HALL inverter inside ECU will invert to 5V (logic high) inside allow through the sectrig VR
- capture InputTrigger/TriggerLog
- rename triggerlog file to note if camHALL_grounded or camHALL_connected and publish file
- depending on divider, assuming divide by 3, in triggerlog 45 pulse seen out of 135 crankpulses
Grounds:
