Some notes about my experiments with firmware.
- MembersPage/Andrey/Knock
- MembersPage/Andrey/MapFilter
- MembersPage/Andrey/SpeedSensor (and gear boost)
- the speed-sensing input is same as PS2 DATA signal (easy to access with removing only endplate).
- If you want the speed input available on your assembled controller: Ask in order note: choose PS2 option and ask for a FREE cable with overmolded PS2-connector, or instruct PS2/DATA available eg, on EC18/pin2 (or your choice), . This pin is a direct processor pin. It is very sensitive''' (like the mcp3208 inputs). Anything above 5V (eg +12V) or below 0V applied will damage the controller.
- How can I connect a 12v speed sensor to this input (5v) without damage?

30.07.08 http://slil.ru/26022479 (host keep it for 30 days from last download) - lightweight MT package with firmware for tests. It was compiled from last svn (after 1.1.36), "16x14 Standard" with experimental features enabled: map-filter, mat-tps corr table, speed sensor with gear boost, n2o retard, injector trim, warning beep. Menu config commands (mct mcs etc) broken, only MT comm works. LCD and PS2 keyboard routines disabled (i never use both), therefore PW MT gauge shows 02% while WBO calibration. ochblocksize=64, so MT couldn't communicate with some (or most) USB-COM.
- I am interested in your firmware modifications, and would like to apply them to 1.0.73. If you can help me could you please contact me at: Lugnuts9 AT msn DOT com
- I work with last svn 1.1, after testing features will be moved to 1.0 too, but now only in 1.1 - Andrey
- Thanks for the reply. If you can help with my projects I will make it worth your while.
- Is there any update on this feature being moved to 1.0? Any way I or somebody else can help? - Thanks, KevinBlack
