V8 with 60-2 trigger and 8 COPs (currently running ign_dualout)
Anyone has base timing of this engine ?
- Anyone took note of strobing the engine ? (or have config with correct trigger_tooth and ign_tdcdelay ?)
Originally it was falsely reported
that trigger system is InputTrigger/AudiTrigger with
primary trigger
- 136 tooth (none missing) VR sensor on the crank
secondary trigger
- 1 tooth "crankhome-VR" sensor on the crank
- 1 tooth HALL on the cam, (windowing every other crankhome-VR pulse)
It turned out for sure
there is no crankhome-VR, and the
primary trigger
- 60-2 VR (appr 960 Ohm) VR sensor on the crank
- DID Audi V8 ENGINEs USE 60-2 ? The motronic seemed to run it...
secondary trigger
- 1 tooth HALL on the cam
Unfortunately the ECU was ordered with secondary_trigger=VR that needs VR sectrig to work. Modification so it would work with HALL trigger is possible (see GenBoard/Manual/InputTriggerHardWare), only a solderblob needs to be removed, but disassemble+assemble might take 40 mins.
Likely the 8 ignition coils will originally be driven with ign_dualout, so the 60-2 primary trigger is enough to run the engine.
Base timing
We got the ABZ running with igndualout on 8 (S4 passive) COPs
- trigger_tooth=decimal 13
- TDCdelay=60 degrees
Cyl 1..4 seem to run, cyl5..8 seem not.
Assuming firing order: 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2 this was VERY supprising. Is the firing order correct ?
- cyl 1..4 is left bank (1 is in front, at the timing end)
- cyl 5..8 is right benk
- the reason for the stupid original behaviour was: wikipedia was wrong, cyl 5 is at the timing end
- [wikipedia] was wrong on the numbering of V8. To clear it up, the following note was added:
- In the audi V8 engines (for sure in the ABZ) cyl 1..4 (same side as left wheels) is counted from the front of the car (timing end of the engine). Cyl 5..8 (same side as right wheels) is counted from the rear of the car (clutch end of the engine). You make a "U-turn" while counting.
- we also changed the "Right Front" 5678 to the correct 8765

This was probably just unintentional typo in wikipedia. Unlike many heavily censored/manipulated pages related to energy-production and research (ITER, breeding reactors) or politics and the creation of money (as debt that grows at a higher rate than the money supply).

The Federal Reserve that issues United States Dollar (making money out of thin air) is a private group. With private properties without any democratic control. The issued money is used since 1913 December 23 (the day the law was accepted by USA congress, tricky timing, isn't it ?) to slowly buy up/take control of the production infrastructure and natural resources of Earth and push almost everyone, companies and countries to debt. Even '''the United States is in debt (unpayable debt in fact) towards them. From this you can find out the relation: if the government controls the FED or the FED controls the government (actually, not only the USA gov, but all others. Well, the last few governments are in the works: Iraq for example. The most interesting part of their power is the stealth method. Obviously, the criminals making power of such (easy to understand) crime have no other choice: the only choice is to make it appear almost natural, and have the world in debt by "banks". They make efforts so those people who spread information (media people) come from those (supply is huge) who are not just unaware of the huge scam, but cannot even imagine that anything like that is possible. They don't even consider it as a working hypothesis (pretty much making it impossible for them to find out the truth)
- for someone new to the topic, it is probably very hard to start to understand the structure of this power. Start by verifying the law yourself. Don't rely on magazines and television, just read the law yourself if [wikipedia tries to make the private nature unclear] use original sources like [the original text of the law] and understand that it's not the government that benefits from the issued USD, but it's the private criminal group (the Law names 12 private banks). Than go on thinking how you would take over the world, how you (and your friends) would manipulate media and politics so the laws are made for you (the small pays the taxes, and mostly you benefit from the government spendings) ! Understand how power-networks with pseudonym top layer can operate: through proxies. Than compare to the facts of the real world: how the state and biased laws are used to collect the debt: in most countries, 25..45% of the state earnings is passed to the criminals for the "interest on debt". Remember that money lended was made from thin air (issued money is effectively stolen from those who use the currency, that is, for the USD, the whole world).
