Installing VEMS on M20B27 BMW engine.This is my first VEMS project,and first standalone project ever,so i would need all the help i can get! :) Tnx
My goals are to get NA engine running on VEMS and doing a few dyno runs,paint car, then go turbo.
I finished my harness few days ago,waiting to get some time to try if i got spark,then i`m going to wire everything else to Genboard and try to start the engine.

Current engine configuration:
- m20b25 head
- m20b25 engine block shortened for 2,4mm
- m20b27 eta crank
- m20 rods 130mm
- m20b25 pistons (8.8:1 pistons from 325i Cat.)
- Schrick cam 288
- M30 AFM (i`m glad i`m getting rid of this think...)
- M50B20 injectors (same cc like stock 715 injectors just got 4 little holes and you get nicer fuel fog)
- Motronic 173
Dyno results with 205/50 R15 159,6HP and 230Nm
Planned configuration for turbo:
- b20 head with b25 valves,welded water channel,3 angle valve job
- b25 engine block,normal height
- 524TD crank,rods
- equal lenght tubular split pulse turbo manifold
- Schwitzer S3,got few turbo so i`m going to try witch one gives best results (Schwitzer,Holset,KKK)
- Huge FM intercooler
- 55lb injectors
- walbro 392gsl
- schrick 288
- wasted spark
- 50mm wastegate
- wbo2,EGT,knock
- ...
Sensors
- Throwing out MAF ?
- What TPS will you use ?
- What MAT (airtemp) sensor will you use ? There are a few MAT sensors in
- WideBand O2
- EGT sensor
Ignition
- 3x2 wasted spark module ?
A: For the NA engine,that i`m curently working on,i`m going to use stock coil,with turbo,yes,i was planning to use 3x2 wasted spark module from Opel Omega B,Vectra B,Calibra V6 (same bosch number as one from the webshop]
- Stock 60-2 wheel with stock VR sensor
Fuel Injecton
- MSD/Halley 55lb lowZ injectors from [racetronix]
- Walbro 392GSL inline fuel pump
