Engine configuration (curently running on VEMS)
- m20b25 head
- m20b25 engine block shortened for 2,4mm
- m20b27 eta crank
- m20 rods 130mm
- m20b25 pistons (8.8:1 pistons from 325i Cat.)
- Schrick cam 288
- M50B20 injectors (same flow like stock bosch 715 injectors)
Dyno results with stock 173 motronic 159whp@6500
- Mcell Q: MAT=??. Very reasonable, likely around 190 Hp crank (as in the book)
- A: Didnt measured MAT but the dyno fan wasnt working so i guess MAT was likely near 45 C (or even more),my engine temp rised little then the usual,about 100 C (normal about 85-90C),these results were measured with 195/50 R15,i`m running 205/50 R15 now with VEMS.Conditions were'nt even close to street ones...it was free run so i think they didnt care.
Dyno results with VEMS: TODO:
- Mcell hint: provide logs of acceleration run(s) and data (most importantly mass, drivetrain, wheel) for LogAnalysis/PowerCompare
- A: I will i just need to learn more about those formulas and frases,as this is my first standlone ever so i`m kind a slow ;),but i will not go turbo until i compare power VEMS/Motronic.
