We're working on some firmware changes that allow VEMS v3.x => round data transfer.
Actually, maybe a separate (that has no wbo2 controller inside) round firmware that polls v3.x and displays lambda and EGT.
- Is it OK if it uses up the RS232 port ?
- That is, while you're tweaking v3.x with megatune, the round is unhooked (and does not show real values).
- This is a great compliment to the v3.3 ecu. I would like to have this feature as soon as possible to offer as an option. I have extra wires ran into the cabin for this reason. If you need a beta test, let me know/ KevinBlack
- Anybody waht to help work on this? I could have easily sold 5 gauges by now, and probably will sell more ECU when comm to round is done

Update?
- Is Comm to Round finally finished? I found this on the webstore:
<<<Looks like a round device, but only useful for displaying data received via RS232 input port. It cannot measure by itself (except internal temperature) : without WBO2 connector (without LSU4 sensor), without EGT connector and without main connector (no analog input, no RPM input, no analog output).
It only has supply and RS232 connector. It receives data from genboard v3 (or other AIM compatible sender device or PC). Several devices can receive the same AIM stream. The aim stream contains several "channels", and each round can display 2 channels, with configurable conversion (adjustable offset, multiplier and dot position allows displayed units, eg. bar, kPa or PSI, Fahrenheit or Celsius, etc>>>
Other functions
Besides the obvious display functions, some other useful functions could be used:
- button (LCD page-change?)
- 2 power outputs with flyback (60V FETs), max 5A (2..3A max recommended)
- external gnd referenced analog output
- RPM (wheelspeed), and maybe other data from round => v3.x
- Shift light (easy?) and or Boost gauge added. Boost display could be a ring of LEDs on the outside of the gauge face, maybe yellow with red as an overboost warning?/ KevinBlack
