ExhaustBackpressure can be useful:
- correction for VE
- correction for WideBand Ip (appr. 20% / 100kPa ? This can be corrected in the l table, but it doesn't hurt to know the real values)
Many times the same transmitter is used as for the common oil-pressure transmitter: a few rounds windup of thin tube prevents the sensor from too much heat (from exhaust gases).
I think we also can use the external 400 kpa MAP sensor from the webshop for this //Emil
Found another possible sensor from 7.3 powerstroke diesel engines, it's a factory-made EBP sensor, but not sure it has a sensor voltage and not act as a switch. Do someone know this? (GergelyLezsak)
- Do you have a connector for it ?
- Do you know thread ?
- more data on type ?
- availability ?
- there is a pressure-test setup in Budapest in district 17 (close to where you live) where it could be tested in a few days
- There's no item in my hands, just found it in car parts list and eBay. But no tech info on it (excepting a high rate of failure on first series cummins engines it was equipped on)
