** connected grouped to (F,F,F), (G,G)
** connecting 3 in parallel is no problem, because injectors are 12..14 Ohm high-Z ** the injector-closing (flyback voltage on powerflyback) is same no matter if 2 or 3 injectors are connected to a given channel. With 3 channels, there is no risk of ruining the output with high-Z (3A load current vs. 9A capability; 3A flyback current vs 4..9A capability - capability depends on pwm-ing configuration) ** 5 injectors (even of the staging set) to 1 INJ channel is not recommended. *** if you configure h[0] to inject together with the primary set (eg. as an experiment to find the equivalent pulsewidth: eg. 3.3 msec with both sets of equal size running is equivalent quantity as 6 msec of the primary set only) => the supply rail will fluctuate more, and fuel quantity will not be as even as with 2+3. *** If you wire 2+3, you can still easily apply both banks connected to same output if you badly need the output channel in the future. |

Q
OK Nice, but the reason i would like to run this on 1 FET: *i will need free INJ FETs in the future *is it really the same opening if connected 2 vs. 3 to 1 INJFET? *if an INJFET dies,we will notice it if all injectors is connected to it,but if 2 injfets are used, its much harder Can i connect 5 injectors to 1INJ channel???? |
do you have any experience with fuel staging? How can i set up the unused (INJ 7,6,5) fets to drive the staged ones?I read the relevant page,do i have to insert them in to h(0) tables last place?my current h0 looks like this |
---- TODO: cleanup according to above - it seems all is answered above Fuel staging How can i set up the unused (INJ 7,6,5) fets to drive the staged ones?I read the relevant page,do i have to insert them in to h(0) tables last place?my current h0 looks like this |
rotating the injection phase (this table is 288 degrees earlier compared to the 8 2 1 4 16 ... above) shouldn't make a big difference (at the end of the tuning! it effects the best VE table slightly), so leave it the way you had when you tuned |
