Sweden / Sodermanland ---- Car: :Volvo 242 -75 It's alive and kicking *4 Coils near plugs - Direct Fire *2 Knock Sensors *Two stage sequential injection - 4+4 injectors (what I get my hands on) *1 WBO2 Engine: *Volvo B23 Turbo with 2,5l stroke, max revs ~8000rpm *Badass turbo *Dry Oil sump *DIY Dump valve (under development/ construction) *Maybe DIY Wastegate *Air/Air or Air/Water Intercooler Transmission: *Aiming for reducing rotating forces *BMW Getrag gearbox (when I can afford it) *Aluminium rear axle from Volvo group A (same as above) Chassie: *Rollcage - Safety first! *Everything else.. ; ) The Future: *DIY variable intake manifold -> InTake/DryManifold ---- == For Discussion == *Need a backpressure sensor on exhaust for accuracy on WideBand O2? Not necessarily. But EBP correction (a few lines must be written) can make WideBand reading somewhat more precise, that's true. *If an EBP sensor is used it should not be wasted on correcting the lambda sensor readings. It's better to fit it before the turbo and use it to compensate for back pressure.
