== Closing time on LOW-Z problem SOLVED ==
I have petrol (Siemens 630cc High-Z injectors 12ohm) connected to first injector bank (INJA-INJD)... I have LPG (MED Low-Z injectors 1.7ohm) connected to second injector bank (INJE-INJH).... Both sets are connected at all times.... LPG injectors are on PWM and petrol injectors are not on PWM... I have high voltage transistor flyback and it works fine... LPG injectors have low voltage 12V flyback.. We did hardware hack to disable PWM on gasoline injectors, but it seems now that it's not needed... In software, we can set rampup time for gasoline injectors 25ms, and they wouldn't see PWM at all... The problem is LPG injector closing time! I have ruff idling, misfires, high consumption, etc... We were thinking of making 4 low voltage active flybacks for LPG while PWM, and then after injector is off, use high voltage flyback for that injector so it would close fast.. ---- Active flyback while in PWM.... It is disabled after PWM when high voltage flyback takes place... ---- Hardware hack to disable PWMing on first bank (INJA-INJD)... ---- I have made it on proto board... ---- Update ---- I have tried it, and it works perfect.... I still don't have those 15V zenner 5W, but I will put them today... Car is idling great at 1.05lmabda with no missfires... Before, it couldn't idle nice above 0.80lambda... I still have some missfires on 3krpm with low MAP numbers on 1.05, but on 1.00 works ok... Maybe the coil dwell time will fix this situation, alto I would like to make CDI to be sure... |
