NEW 2018-01-25 ---- I have 11 units in need of repair or return. Unit nr 1: Serial nr 6858. Multiple high current damage, Caused by burnt coil - damage mainboard No comm. Mainbord replacement. VR/Hall 2+6Logic. "2JZ VAG coils, Custom harness" Also add one Missing FET clamp. ... Unit nr 2: Serial nr 9540 Damaged P259 chip and Damaged Stepper chip. Also possible other damage. VR/Hall 8+0 IGN. "Bmw M50 stock coils, Twinshield" Fix whatever is needed. ... Unit nr 3: Serial nr 9332 M50 PnP unit, worked for 1 hour, then just died. Some form of bootloader/firmware issue on reboot. I want full refund on this one. Will send it WITH external MAP sensor. ... Unit nr 4: Serial nr 13031 M60 PnP unit. Never worked right, 2 cylinders missfires. Some form of manufacture defekt that manifests in problem with injector output or IGN output. I am almost sertain the problem is with the injector outputs. All outputs work when in testmode, all fires individually. But when enginge is started 2 cylinder do not run correct. Dead on idle. then runs in on mid load, then dead again on full load. I made a "Patch harness" for this car, and used a stock VEMS 3.8 unit and it has run perfectly after that. Even installed this defektive unit again, and the problem returned. I want full refund for this unit, and 200 euro for the time spent looking for this problem. Spent 10 hours looking for a mechanical fault :( Will send it in with external Map sensor. ... I will send the first 4 units in one package because of limited insurance. ... Unit 5: Serial nr 13039 M60 PnP unit. This never worked. No trigger. This has Manufacture defekt. This is not wired correctly. I have messured it and GND pins and Trigger pins are not where they are supposed to. I want full refund on this unit. Plus 100Euro in handling of this problem and shipping fees etc. Will send if in with External map sensor. ... Unit nr 6 Serial nr 11151 Damage/faulty 5volt output and possible IGN fet damage and Stepper chip. Damage caused by melted wiring. Vr/Hall 8Ign "BMW M20, twinshield" Repair what ever is needed. Do complete functionallity test. ... Unit 7: Serial nr: 2365 Old unit used with many cars. Memory damage. Looses information when used. Firmware update not possible. Please change mainboard and update with Knock and LCD. ... Unit 8: Serial nr 727 Old unit, multilpe problems, just replace mainboard. ... Unit 9: Serial nr: 14354 I belive this unit was sent for repair prevously. And when I recived it back it was still no com. Just replace the motherboard, and any missing parts. (eg. communicate with engine off, but frequent comm disconnects with engine running). ---- Unit number: 4130 belongs to Engdahl/RBD Damaged LM1815. Unknown reason. Burnt Stepper chip due to short in solenoid. No communication after the chip fried. Main board replacement authorized. ---- Unit Number: 8168. Belings to Engdahl Injector channel/channels grounds on powerup. Suspected INJ driver chip damage? Test it and fix whatever is broken. Main board replacement authorized. ---- Unit Number: 2365. Belings to Engdahl/RBD Communication problems. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Bootloader corrupt? If uncertain, change of main board is authorized. ---- Unit Number: 4706, Unit Belong to Engdahl CPU failure. Tested this on my bench, Very strange problems, then I even burnt myself on the CPU. Efter firmware update it died. No comms. Main board replacement authorized. ---- Unit Number: 1959 belongs to Engdahl/RBD * No communication. ** seems to communicate without problem (no CRC error). I think It died on the testbench. Change main board and replace any missing/broken parts.
