Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: The Rover V8 has a fairly simple EFI harness that maps readily to the VEMS ECU. There were two ECUs used on the hotwire systems, the 14CU and the 14CUX, each with slightly different pin-out. We've got the 14CUX to play with here. Things like road speed input (could map to 2nd VR input) etc. It seems that TRW/Lucas can't be bothered to answer their email. So, we'll do it properly and use Econoseal connectors and make a new loom. The new loom is to be constructed from mil-spec Tefzel wire (-65 to 150 degrees centigrade). Fuses and relays will be automotive, for easy replacement if and when required. * MIL-22759/16 Tefzel wire for all except the following * MIL-27500 shielded 1 conductor Tefzel for the trigger and WBO2 nernst signals. * MIL-27500 shielded 3 conductor Tefzel for the serial communication cable. ---- Back to MembersPage/RichardBarrington/TonysCapri Back to MembersPage/RichardBarrington Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ...
