Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: 28Dec2005 Genboard will be used in a Peugeot 106 1600 8v (TU5J2) for setup purposes and later on it will be used on a 1600 16v unit (TU5JP4) which is currently in preparation. On v3.0 .. v3.2 it's recommended to use a Transient suppression diode on D37. On v3.3 board there already is a SMD diode (printed PJ52 LM) placed, which is an SMB package transient diode. It's possible to solder a bigger throughole transient diode (IN6277A ? IIRC it's type is 1k5e18V) (either onboard or in harness) for extra-protection, but it's better investment to make sure there is a right (max 3A) fuse for the v3.x main supply, and fuse for injectors (max 3A*cyl#), and separate fuses (max 10A) for each ignition transformer, etc.... ---- 08Jan2006 Triggering: crankshaft: VR sensor 60-2 standard mounted on the engine. camshaft: No triggering available as standard. Will have to ad a magnet to the camwheel for hall, or switch to VR. --- 13Aug2006 It has been a long time since I worked on my genboard. The genboard is ready and table tested. It is now time to mount it into the car. Instead of using the standard VEMS casing (I now regret I didn't use it), I want to build the board into a standard Peugeot casing. I succeeded but now I need to get my hands on appropriate connectors. Does someone know which OEM fitted their cars with this casing (Bosch and Siemens) appart from PSA. I looked at a scrapyard for those connectors and they wanted 100EUR for the 3 connectors. A bit to much for me cause I wanted to fit several cars with those connectors. http://www.student.tue.nl/P/g.f.a.peters/Picture052.jpg Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ...
