Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: Qualitec Denmark I have this BMW M62B44 engine. Can I run it with the orginal CAM sensor that has 4 cam signals. Can the software "not look" at the cams above etc. 80 deg.. * You should be able to select Ignore secondary trigger pulses above - 243 (256-243=13) * This will ignore all secondary triggers more then 13 teeth away (prior to gap), which will only leave you with one trigger on one cycle and none on the other stroke (on stroke 1 you have secondary triggers at 50, 41 and 11, on stroke 2 you have secondary trigger at 20teeth before gap, you may need to adjust ignition output order to get the coils to fire at the right time * By using 243 you allow the cam to be able to swing somewhat without loosing camsync, if you have it lower the trigger at 20teeth might be seen and it will trigger on the wrong stroke causing incorrect ignition phasing. * Have you set the primary trigger position yet? I have done a few M62B44 engines and found primary trigger to be at 70deg. * Also make * Sectrig min angle - 0 * Sectrig max angle - 360 * Try another trigger log and report back (GunnarReynisson) Or should I remove 3 of the cams. Please see the trigger log and log file I have made. http://www.vems.hu/files/MembersPage/Qualitec/v3.3_u006867-2013-04-29-21.37.20.triggerlog http://www.vems.hu/files/MembersPage/Qualitec/v3.3_u006867-2013.04.29-21.37.48.vemslog -Anders Qualitec.dk Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ...
