Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: Rob Humphris - Cambridge, UK. http://www.vems.co.uk ----- Big problems with MattJ's install. Matt reported erratic spark on cranking, and then no spark. We checked the wiring, there is continuity between power and the EC36 pins 33 and 34 (coil 01 & 02) when plug is removed from unit and probed. Also there was an issue with the fuel pump relay, when it was set to p259 channel 5 the fuel relay did not switch to prime the system. When the relay driver was changed to INJFET the relay primed okay. After cranking the relay KEEPS RUNNING until the unit is switched off! I have asked Matt to send the unit back to me so that I can bench test it. Its a pity as the customer has had all manner of issues with the ALS and its not looking good :( Model is a 4+4 serial number 638 http://vems.hu/www.vems.co.uk/VEMSConfigs/configMatJNoSpark.txt http://vems.hu/www.vems.co.uk/VEMSConfigs/tablesMattJConfigured.txt ----- Due to public demand the working megaloader file is available for download: http://vems.hu/www.vems.co.uk/VEMSWinTools MembersPage/PhatBob/ALSConfigFix ----- http://www.vems.hu/wiki/index.php?page=EasyTherm note that only the boards without the AVCC mod use the _287 files. WebshopIgnitionOptions - explains the webshop ignition coil options ----- As requested on AFreshTiny page. AFreshTiny 5A control. It would be good if the 5A control could be activated in a similar way to the Genboard Misc outputs. Trigger on/off on: * Lambda - so that the system can turn on a 5th injector or warning light. * EGT - to trigger water injection, 5th injector, turn off boost solanoid or trigger a warning light) * Analog Input - to set on off points with either boost or tps - would work well as a 'soft' TPS switch to turn on n2o systems or any of the above suggestions. ----- '''Currently Developing''' Working on a specific start-up guide for customers who've had their VEMS installed or bought a wiring loom http://vems.hu/www.vems.co.uk/VEMSLoom/LoomGuide.doc UsabiLity UsabiLity/GenBoard/WinTools PIDControlTuning MembersPage/PhatBob/UserGuide MembersPage/PhatBob/ToyotaFitting MembersPage/PhatBob/Marketing MembersPage/PhatBob/InjectorNotes VehicleFitment/Toyota VehicleFitment/Honda VehicleFitment/Nissan ----- '''Compulsory''' MembersPage/PhatBob/PurchasePage ----- '''Previous Problems Worth Remembering''' MembersPage/PhatBob/MagnettiMarelliSensorProblem ----- '''Handy URLs''' A list of Ecu Sensors and their functions http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Library/EcuSensors A fairly good list of Japanese car's ECU pin outs http://www.plxdevices.com/ecudatabase.htm Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ...
