Only if I crank long time >6 sec it louse sync we can live with that. Testing the visual trigger program. It’s the best that is happened to vemstune it´s simply too cool and will be a great help to all installers. Great work guys ---- When setting up this car I ran into problems. Firmware is 1.1.75 as requested Crank 60-2 Cam 180 degrees = high next 180 degrees = low the test result is based on bench testing because I think there may be something wrong with the crank trigger wheel, it seams that I louse a negative signal somewhere maybe a ion fragment but I will confirm later. The car cranks at 161 VT rpm´s so I set the signal generator (jimstrim) to 161 rpm. At 161 rpm I get the cync getting on and off. Trig tooth 5 and 60 sensor degrees. If I type 63 degrees it´s working correct. The strengths part is if I set crank/after start switching point to 99 (norm 300) the problem are gone What I seen Trig tooth 5 and 60 sensor degrees crank/after start switching point to 300 rpm. 100-130 = good 131-173 = bad 174 – and up is good Config http://www.vems.hu/files/MembersPage/PeterJensen/volvo_t5/Volvo_5t_1175_marcell.vemscfg * Do you also have vemslog of the behavior ? * do you see RPM spike when the problem happens ? * [www.vems.hu/download/v3/firmware/experimental/ 1.1.79] has low-RPM cranking RPM-calc fix: ign+inj actuation goes below 120 RPM (down to 30 RPM and below with some triggers, eg. 60-2), when RPM shows constant 100 RPM (not the precise RPM). We tested with the following config (almost yours, just the outputs are different for test and the rpm limits to test very high RPM) on FW 1.1.79 It works fine from 80 RPM, but can be good smaller RPM too with real trigger. http://www.vems.hu/files/MembersPage/PeterJensen/volvo_t5/m582_5cyl_test_config.vemscfg ---- Bmw E46 stretch six cyl.
