Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: This car is a MB SL 500 with AMG 5.5liter supercharged engine conversion. It's V8, has dual-plug igntion and 3-valve heads. In stock trim delivers over 500hp. Nothing is purchased by now yet, but I opted for 4 Bosch coil-packs and since there's two plugs per cylinder, we can go even full sequential. Primary trigger is usual 60-2 configuration. Engine features also drive-by-wire throttle that has separate little motor and could be controlled independently (TPS for VEMS anyway) but owner decided to got mechanical throttle. We'll see, maybe we'll experiment with the MB DBV setup also since it don't need any outside assistance. But here's quesions: 1. There's a throttle valve for supercharger boost control that operates in 12v but pretty high current (max 10A) and we'd like to connect it to VEMS. Since all ignition and injector putputs are in use, we need separate hi-powered output. Could it be implemented using one freely controllable outputs logic? 2. Engine has gearbox overload protection which means that before every gearshift the gearbox sends a signal to ECU to reduce timing to 5degrees BTDC for 400uS in order to save gearbox from stress.
