Visit Preferences to set your user name Summary of change: Hi, I have the B6304FS wire-harness (motronic 1.8) already installed and working in my car. The previous engine I had, was the stock B6304FS (Volvo 960, pre 1995). The engine in it self has COP (Coil On Plug), no distributor, but it has both 60-2 trigger on the flywheel as the factory RPM input (VR type sensor), as well as a cam postition sensor. The engine also has a 3" AMM and a narrow-band lambda-sensor. When I looked in the webshop, I saw something which I hope will work for my application: http://shop.vems.hu/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=122&osCsid=b0182156df4fa18acdef9b587c254338 It looks very much like the connector on the motronic 1.8 used in the Volvo 960: http://www.volvo-power.net/div/b6304/parts/DSC00374.jpg Some wiring on the motronic 1.8 http://www.volvo-power.net/div/b6304/Wiring/960-93-1[1].gif http://www.volvo-power.net/div/b6304/Wiring/960-93-2[1].gif http://www.volvo-power.net/div/b6304/Volvo%20960%20motorstyring.gif Component list: http://www.volvo-power.net/div/b6304/Wiring/Components.txt Seems to have similarities with PlugAndPlayMotronic/BmwEngines * Get the xls spreadsheet * compare all motronic55 pins, make new spreadsheet if necessary. * measure harness with motronic removed: ** grounds ** sensors (resistance) ** supply voltage at motronic55pin37 (+12V might be supplied by ECU or harness, when ign is on). Q: Could someone solder up a custom connector/adaptor for me? * same task applies, see above EGT and WB-lamda "outside" of the OEM loom, that is no problem. Optional: Add document to category: Wiki formatting: * is Bullet list ** Bullet list subentry ... '''Bold''', ---- is horizontal ruler, <code> preformatted text... </code> See wiki editing HELP for tables and other formatting tips and tricks.
