'''Update 2006-05-24''' Firmware 1.0.36 was installed and we remapped the engine. This coming weekend the old engine is coming out and within a week we hope to have the newly rebuilt engine in place. '''Update 2006-12-09''' Firmware 1.0.53 was installed with hopes that we could tune the engine with Alpha-N but stumbled upon a problem right away. There could be a quick and short answer if I simply describe the so I will post the config and tables later, if it turns out to be more complex. Basically we ran out of VE values. With a req_fuel value of 25.5 ms (the most you can have) we maxed out the VE table values at low and idle load at 255%. With Speed-Density we had 25% VE with a req fuel of 14 ms at idle. Tomorrown we will try to set the TPS reading so that 5% is closed throttle, because we believe the pulsewidth calculation doesn't work when TPS reads 0%. The injectors are wired to fire sequentially, but we have no cam sync - it is only a simple trigger setup. We can just run it with Speed-Density as it was tuned previously, but due to the cam shaft profile there is very little vacuum so we would really like to use Alpha-N instead to get better quality.
